Why We Fundraise
The High View PTFA (Parents, Teachers and Friends Association) is a welcoming and active community of parents and caregivers, supported by school staff and Governors. Our primary goal is to raise funds to acquire resources that enhance the learning experience for our students, ensuring that every pound we collect directly benefits the children. Over the past two years, thanks to various events, we have successfully funded the purchase of:
- Cupboards for Performing Art's Room
- High Vis' and wristbands for school trips
- Equipment for the Nurture and Elsa rooms
- Ping Pong Tables
- Block Play Unit for Year 1
- Tennis Nets
- Football Goal Posts
As a parent of a child at High View Primary, you are automatically a member of the PTFA. You can help support us by volunteering at various events, especially our Summer Fair. If you’re passionate about making a difference and eager to get involved, why not consider joining the Committee to become an integral part of our school community, forge new friendships, and perhaps even discover a knack for event planning and fundraising! Whether you’re a stay-at-home parent, a retired grandparent, or work full or part time, any support you can provide is greatly appreciated. We welcome new ideas, so feel free to join us at one of our meetings, typically held at the school once or twice a term. We would love to hear from you. Even if you’re not interested in joining the committee, but would like to help with events as a volunteer, please reach out to a member of the PTFA committee by clicking the 'Get Involved' button at the top of the page.

Reception Gift Bags
We present gift bags to parents on their child's first day of Reception, a cherished tradition we wish to continue annually. We hope their initial weeks of school have been enjoyable and with new friendships on the horizon.
EY Welcome BBQ
A huge thank you to all of you that attended our new event for this year! It was a fantastic afternoon and we hope the new starters in Reception and Nursery have settled in well. Thank you for supporting the school through your donations and purchases at the BBQ.
Autumn Fun Night & Disco
Our much anticipated event for the Autumn tern is the Fun Night & Disco for Years 1-6. There, games, crafts, music and each ticket includes a snack and drink. There is still time to buy your tickets on school Gateway.
